What are the quality control criteria for cell or nuclei suspensions prior to loading?

Answer:
For cell suspensions, recommended criteria include cell viability greater than 90%, aggregation rate below 10%, a concentration of approximately 700–1200 cells/μL, nucleated cell proportion above 70%, and cell diameter within the range of 5–40 μm.

For nuclei suspensions, cell viability is expected to be low (<5%), but nuclei should appear intact, round, and free of excessive debris under microscopic observation.
