Introduction
The RNase Inhibitor is a recombinant murine-derived RNase inhibitor expressed in E. coli. It forms a 1:1 non-competitive complex with RNase A, B, and C, providing robust protection of RNA from enzymatic degradation throughout in vitro workflows.
Unit definition: One unit (U) is defined as the amount of inhibitor required to inhibit 50% of the activity of 5 ng RNase A. RNase A activity is quantified by inhibition of cyclic 2', 3'-CMP hydrolysis to 3'-CMP.
