The SeekOne DD Single-Cell Multiome Methylation + RNA Kit is compatible with:
- Fresh tissue-derived cells or nuclei
- Frozen tissue-derived nuclei
- Fresh cultured cells
- Cryopreserved cells
Both whole-cell and isolated nuclei workflows are supported.
For optimal performance, fresh samples are recommended whenever possible, as sample freshness can significantly affect RNA integrity and overall multiomic data quality.
Currently unsupported sample types
The current workflow does not support FFPE (formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded) samples. This limitation is primarily due to the substantial nucleic acid fragmentation and chemical crosslinking introduced during FFPE processing, which can negatively affect both transcriptomic profiling and methylation analysis.
