What fluorescence channels are available? Are other dyes supported?

Answer:
The SeekMate Tinitan fluorescent cell counter is equipped with two fluorescence channels:

  • Green channel: 
    • Excitation: 470 nm ± 15 nm 
    • Emission filter: 535 nm ± 25 nm 
  • Red channel: 
    • Excitation: 525 nm ± 10 nm 
    • Emission filter: 600 nm long-pass (LP) 

For alternative dyes, compatibility depends on whether the excitation and emission spectra fall within the supported ranges of these channels.

If compatible, such dyes may be used; however, fluorescence detection parameters (particularly exposure time) must be optimized manually on the instrument.
