Can the SeekOne DD single-cell multiome methylation + RNA workflow use other C to T conversion methods, such as TAPS?
2026-06-23
Answer:
Currently, TAPS and other alternative C to T conversion methods are not supported.
The SeekOne DD workflow has been specifically optimized around the EM-seq enzymatic conversion system and its compatibility with the single-cell RNA workflow. Alternative chemical or enzymatic conversion methods may affect DNA/RNA integrity, conversion efficiency, or library construction performance.
To ensure experimental stability and data quality, the official EM-seq workflow is strongly recommended.
