Are there requirements for cell types when performing immune repertoire enrichment?

Answer:
Yes, V(D)J enrichment targets T cells and B cells.

Recommended composition: T/B cells should constitute >20% of total viable cells 

Low abundance scenarios: If T/B cell proportion is <5%, pre-enrichment (Magnetic bead enrichment / FACS sorting) is strongly recommended.

Otherwise, even if sequencing is performed, the number of captured clonotypes may be insufficient for meaningful analysis.
