Which thermal cyclers are compatible with the scFAST-seq workflow?

Answer:
Validated thermal cyclers include:

  • Bio-Rad C1000 (discontinued) 
  • LongGene A300 (deep-well)

Other thermal cyclers may be used if they meet the following requirements:

  • Compatible with deep-well plates (≥100 μL volume) 
  • Provide uniform temperature control 
  • Equipped with an adjustable heated lid 
  • Support gradient ramping (~1.5°C/sec) (required for certain workflows such as FAST-seq and SeekSpace spatial transcriptomics) 

Allow block cycling to begin before the heated lid reaches the target temperature (to avoid delays)
